6 Heures Moto Already more than 40 teams registered!
It is on Sunday 27th August that the 2023 edition of the 6 Heures Moto will take place. And quite clearly this change of date has delighted the teams and the riders. With four months still to go DG Sport can in fact boast on having more than 40 teams signed up!
And the quality is on the books! Claiming overall victory as also the Pro category last year, the Trax Racing Team together with Niels Hattas, Yves Bollaerts and Côme Geenen are fully determined to do everything in their power to repeat this. Even if the entry list is still provisional, competition promises to be tough going, especially in the battle for overall victory. Among the Pro category, Druijff Racing Kawasaki will not be heading on down to the heart of the Ardennes to hang around, Wayne Tessels and Erwin Druijff clearly going for gold. And on the Am front Racing-Products.com can already count on the presence of Alteco – TD-Parket (Wim Van Den Bossche, Thomas Dieleman and Maikel De Block), J&I racingteam (Ives Aerts, Wim Boekestijn and Gerd Maris) and MC 69 racing (Wesley Ceulemans, Steven Dierckx and Tjorven Pooters)! “Looking through the list of entrants as it stands today, impossible not to underline its international character, Florian Jupsin, in the name of DG Sport commented. It goes to prove that the 6 Heures Moto enjoy a great reputation far beyond the Belgian borders, with amateur teams emanating from the Netherlands, Germany, France, as also Switzerland and Sweden! This is already a great reward, and bodes well for unprecedented battles on the track … “
As such The Racing Holzwürmer (Roland Von Bergen, Christian Von Bergen and Lorenz Sennhauser) team, entered in Pro, will be defending the Swiss stronghold, while One Endurance Racing (Stefan Bernström and Patrik Bergsman) and Mousse Racing (Hakan Stensby, Mattias Bostrom and Jan-Owe Bengtsson), two teams entered in Am, will be travelling on down from the north of Europe! Others should follow shortly …
Worth noting also the first female presence, with the Frenchwoman Alexandra Polini, teamed up with Thierry Robert for the Beauty & The Beast team (La Belle & La Bête) which visibly boasts a very appropriate name …
As you can see, for the 6 Heures Moto by DG Sport, all lights are on green … and the best is perhaps still come!
