The weeks are ticking away towards the big amateur endurance event on the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps: the 6 Heures Moto! With just two weeks to go before this unique event in Belgium, DG Sport is putting the finishing touches to a one-day event on Sunday September 22... which will start on the Saturday evening in the heart of Spa, with the traditional and popular Parade of machines and riders! It's an opportunity for fans and also tourists passing through the city of water, to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of an event that will bring together some... 72 crews! You’ve got it right, the 6 Heures Moto 2024 is sold out!
And on the legendary Ardennes track, the fight for victory will be as intense as ever, with favourites Masteroil by MRP - the 2023 winners! -Mototech GYTR Proshop - on the final podium last year - Interbike Racing Team (with Gian Mertens and Sébastien Le Grelle), Druijff Racing Kawasaki and many others. It's clear that the battle will be tight at every level of the standings, with teams lining up in the 600 PRO class still in a position to surprise in the overall standings, an absolute free-for-all in the 1000 AM class - by far the most crowded - and the 600 AM class, not forgetting the followers of the Trophy standings, who use a single bike.
The 6 Heures Moto 2024 will also be the final round of the Belgian Master of Endurance, following on from the Zolder 5 Hours and the Zolder 500. A competition currently dominated by... Masteroil by MRP, which can be found at all levels, ahead of Nine T-One and Trax Racing Team. As for the Ducati Sambreville team, clear leaders in the Junior class, they will be trying to make it a double by also claiming victory in the 1000 AM on September 22!
As you can see, there will be plenty at stake in the 6 Heures Moto 2024. This should ensure total intensity from start to finish, confirming the unmissable nature of motorbike endurance racing on 'the most beautiful circuit in the world'...
