6 Heures Moto Go girls !

Going through the provisional entry list for the 2021 6 Heures Moto, it's impossible to miss the #100 Kawasaki ZX-10R entered by the French team Team Thuy Racing. And for good reason, the three pilots are… girls ! The sisters Gaëlle and Natacha Remy, 28 and 31 years old, will be accompanied by Béatrice Girard, 37 years old. Entered in the Trophy Class, they intend above all to get some practice for the 2022 season ...

« This is not our first participation in the 6 Heures Moto, and one of my daughters had already ridden there four years ago, explains Christian Remy, Team-Principal of Team Thuy Racing based in Annecy, and… father of Gaëlle and Natacha. We are currently competing the Ultimate Cup in France, and the objective is to see where we are in view of our future participations. Next year, we would like to compete in the Barcelona and Spa events, in addition to the 12 Hours of Magny-Cours. Amateur vs Pro

Like many other teams at the start of the 6 Heures Moto 2021, the #100 Team Thuy Racing will race in the Amateur category. It should be noted that the distinction between "Amateur" and "Pro" is made according to the track record of the riders. A team is entered in 'Pro' as soon as one of its riders has reached the top 5 in a national championship between 2006 and 2021, has scored points in a European or international competition during this same period, has taken part in one or more rounds of the FIM World Endurance Championship, or his or her performances allow him or her to claim this status.

This distinction between "Amateur" and "Pro" makes it easier to read the rankings, and thus highlight the performance of the best representatives of each category.

In the meantime, go girls from #100 !
